Questions before you save your first photo

Do I need to install an app?

No. Tenacove runs in a web browser. Open your record and sign in with ChatGPT to save real records. The sample home needs no account and uses generated images.

Is Tenacove free?

The current Beta is free, limited to 25 accounts. No payment details are collected and there is no active subscription.

Can my landlord see my photos?

There is no landlord account connection, public photo URL or automatic sharing flow. Private endpoints check your signed-in account. Service operators and infrastructure providers may access data for maintenance or valid requests; end-to-end encryption is not provided. See privacy.

Can I use another device?

The service stores real records in your account rather than only in one browser. Sign in to the same ChatGPT account on another device. A desktop test confirmed reading between two independent browsers. Physical-phone camera and device-specific download behavior still need device testing in this early Beta.

Does the app prove when I took a photo?

No. You confirm the observation date. The service stores receipt time and an original-file hash, but neither establishes capture time, authenticity or liability. Keep original metadata and relevant correspondence separately.

What if I did not take move-in photos?

Start with the records you already have. Label later photos with the date they were actually taken and do not present them as a move-in baseline. Our missing move-in photos guide explains a practical inventory.

Can I upload videos, leases or repair PDFs?

Not in this Beta. Records accept one supported photo and a note. Keep videos, leases, invoices, inspection forms and emails in a separate folder. You can note the matching filename or request number without pasting unrelated private information.

Why will a HEIC photo not preview?

Some browsers cannot display HEIC or HEIF. The accepted original can still be retained and downloaded. A JPEG is easier to preview across browsers. Keep the original, and check the file size is below 12 MB.

How do I open the download?

Download the ZIP, extract all files, then open report.html. Keep its originals folder alongside it. The manifest is a machine-readable copy, and the README explains the bundle. See organizing and checking an export.

Are catch-up emails and landlord monitoring active?

No. Monitoring is reserved for manual assessment; there is no active automated review feed or email delivery. Selecting a listed apartment does not activate alerts.

Can I delete my records?

Yes, through each record or account settings. Deletion is permanent in the app and there is no self-service restore. Download and verify a copy first. Provider logs or historical backups have separate retention rules.
